Social Committee
Our Social Committee is a small but motivated group who come up with ideas and then plans, organises and runs our social events.
Their aim is to:
- bring together various groups in the Parish.
- provide enjoyable events.
- create a sense of togetherness amongst our whole Church community.
- raise money for the Parish.

A List of Events for 2024 – Look out for dates in Our Newsletter
- Christmas Fair – Sunday in December (10.30 am – 1 pm in the Church Hall)
- Gift Amnesty…… Donate your surplus Christmas gift to help raise funds for our church
- Cakes of the world….Celebrate pur parish diversity as we savour cakes from around the world.
- Easter Celebration……..Activities and craft for the children and tea, coffee and cake .
- Walk and Picnic………A gentle stroll through our lovely city ending with a BYO picnic. A family friendly event.
- International Bring and share lunch………Come together , celebrate our diverse parish and enjoy a meal and meet other parishioners.
- Promise Auction……. Come and enjoy the fun and excitement of an auction. Items of Promise donated by our parish Catalogue and nibbles provided on the night.
- Back to school children blessing… For children starting a new school or entering a new class/year, Children are encouraged to bring wear their school jumper to be blessed.
- Harvest festival….Tea, coffee cakes and activities for the children with a donation of food item for the local homeless shelter
- Quiz night…..A fun family friendly night, bring a team or jion a table, light snacks, tea and coffee provided.
- Christmas Fair……Raffle,Tombola. Teas, Cakes , Father Christmas. Stall and lots more for the whole family
