By Train

Canterbury has two railway stations – Canterbury West and Canterbury East, both served by Southeastern Railway.

    • Duration: 1hr and 20 mins
  • Victoria Station to Canterbury EAST

By Car

The nearest public car park to St Thomas’ Church is Queningate, and directly opposite the church (Iron Bar Lane) is a dedicated disabled car park for blue badge holders.

There are also three Park and Ride locations servicing the city.

The best way to find the car parks is to use google maps or via Canterbury City Council’s website, filtering on Canterbury. The Council’s website will also give you the current prices.

By Coach

Canterbury has one bus station, which is serviced by National Express.

  • Price: approx. £15 Adult return
  • Duration: 2hrs 10 mins (first bus leaves at 7am)

The last coach leaves from Canterbury Bus Station at 20:45 pm.
