Clergy Support Fund

Over four years ago the Archdiocese embarked on the Clergy Support Fund Campaign to raise much needed funds to support the on-going care and support of our sick and retired clergy.

The campaign raised £3.7 million from 3,000 gifts and pledges, all in support of the elderly and infirm priests of Southwark who have dedicated their lives to the Church. It was a great display of generosity for which we are incredibly grateful. We want to thank you for having supported the campaign in your parishes and enabling people to learn about, and support, the welfare of our clergy in their retirement.

This Christmas we have sent supporters of this fund a Christmas Newsletter, with a cover letter from Archbishop John Wilson, thanking them for their generosity of heart.
