The Death of His Holiness Pope Francis

There is a book of Condolence that you may wish to sign by the Lady’s altar in the church.

We had this message yesterday from Canterbury Cathedral.

“The flag is at half mast; there is a book of condolence and a pricket stand in St Augustine’s chapel (north side of the west end), and the duty chaplains have the text of the prayer released by the Church of England for use in the hourly prayers. We will continue to pray for the repose of his soul, not least at evensong when the Gregory the Great crozier will stand by the St Augustine throne.”

There is an online book of condolence for use by clergy and lay faithful – franciscus.angb@gmail.com

Also, there is an in-person book of condolence which is open to the public at the Apostolic Nunciature in Wimbledon (54 Parkside, Wimbledon, London, SW19 5NE) from 10.30 am to 12.30pm on Tuesday 22, Wednesday 23 and Thursday 24 April.
