International World Day of Prayer is on Friday 6th March 2026 at 11am at The Salvation Army, White Horse Lane, Canterbury CT1 2RU. A light soup lunch will be served after the service. This year our service has been prepared by our sisters in Nigeria and reflects on the theme “I will give you rest”.
World Day of Prayer is a worldwide movement of Christian women from over 120 countries and islands who observe a common day of prayer held on the first Friday in March each year. We join with other Faith Communities in Canterbury to organise this day of praise, worship, and prayer, held in a different church in Canterbury each year.
