A low carbon community hub, a repair café, tree-planting and re-wilding; a joined-up cycle network, sustainable transport, eco-homes, community gardens and renewable energy generation. These are some of the ideas being planned to help Canterbury go zero-carbon by 2030.
The University of Kent, Extinction Rebellion, Youth Strike 4 Canterbury, Canterbury City Council, the Canterbury Alliance for Sustainable Transport, Eco Cops, East Kent Permaculture and Conker Conservation are coming along to share their ideas.
All are welcome. Come along and share your ideas too.
The meeting is being organised by the Canterbury Society in association with the Canterbury Climate Action Partnership. Tea and coffee will be served from 7 pm.
