What is Alpha?
Alpha Online takes you on a journey of discovery to freely explore the basics of the Christian faith over a series of interactive online sessions via Zoom video conferencing. It gives you the opportunity to discuss the big questions in life such as:
- What am I here for?
- What is the purpose of my life?
- Who is Jesus?
Most people ask these sorts of questions at some point in their lives.
Each evening session starts with an engaging video which ends with a small group discussion where you can share your thoughts and experiences. Don’t worry if you are not familiar with Zoom we will provide technical assistance.
Who is Alpha For?
Alpha welcomes all who are curious about finding out more about the Christian faith whatever your age, life background, or beliefs. If you are not sure what you believe in or have stopped going to church a while ago, or are relatively new to faith, or just need to reconnect, then try Alpha. It is so easy online – no travelling time, just get comfortable and switch on your device and join in.
Course Information
Our next Alpha course will start in late January 2023. The course runs for 11 weeks from 7.00 pm – 8.15 pm. This may be run in the Church Hall rather than online but a final decision has yet to be made. To register your interest please complete the form below and we will be in touch with further information in due course. If, at any point, you think Alpha isn’t for you, that’s not a problem. This course is free so there is no pressure, no follow-up, and no charge.
