My Thoughts on 04/04/2020

Tomorrow we begin Holy Week. During this week can I suggest several ways of praying.

This Sunday we could read the passion of Jesus according to St Matthew. 26:14-27:66

On Good Friday we could read the Passion of Jesus according to St John 18:1 -19:42

Make the stations of the cross. There are several good meditations on YouTube

Finally, this is the prayer that is going to be included in the intercessions this Good Friday

Almighty ever-living God, only support of our human weakness, look with compassion upon the sorrowful condition of your children who suffer because of this pandemic; relieve the pain of the sick, give strength to those who care for them, welcome into your peace those who have died and, throughout this time of tribulation grant that we may all find comfort in your merciful love. Through Christ our Lord.
