My Thoughts on 29/03/2020

It’s just after 5.30am this morning on the 5th Sunday of Lent, 29th March 2020.

I have decided to try and write a little every day so as to keep in touch with you. It is nothing profound but it is an opportunity to share thoughts and prayers with all of you who are isolated from each other. I am glad to hear that many of you have signed up for the newsletter. Last night the Archbishop sent the latest instruction about, among other things, funerals, confession and anointing the sick.

Today we are asked to rededicate England as the Dowry of Mary. I am still not well enough to celebrate Mass but have asked Fr Sylvester and Canon John to do this at the end of Mass.
