Safeguarding Officer
Mr Peter Jones .At St Thomas’ we recognize that good safeguarding practice underpins all good pastoral work. We are committed to ensuring the safety and welfare of children and vulnerable adults, and to the promotion of a safe and secure environment for all. Under the guidance of the Diocesan Safeguarding Office we cooperate fully with CSAS, the Catholic Safeguarding Advisory Service, which aims to help the Church become an example of best practice in the safeguarding of children and vulnerable adults, and develop a “culture of vigilance” to ensure that all in our care are kept safe from harm. Peter can be contacted through the parish office. He is responsible for all safeguarding issues and advises whether one requires children and vulnerable adult security clearances.
Parish Treasurer
Mr Jonathan Butchers is contactable through the parish office.
Gift Aid Coordinator
Mr Cyril Scott is responsible for gift aid application and direct debit forms for the parish. If you are a   regular UK taxpayer then by offering your weekly contribution through the gift aid programme, the parish can reclaim the tax on your offering. To help with the   counting of the weekly collection, parishioners are recommended to donate by   direct debit through their banks. Mr Scott can be contacted for further information on 01227-456298.
